The canola oil used by Richtek comes from China's Inner Mongolia, Sichuan and Tibet, with proven cultivation, extraction and processing technologies. EncapsuleX®Canola oil powder is pressed from low erucic rapeseed and contains no more than 3% erucic acid in its fatty acid composition, much lower than the 20-60% found in conventional rapeseed oil. High erucic acid can cause thickening of the blood vessel walls and fatty deposits in the heart muscle, whereas low erucic acid is designed to significantly reduce this risk.
