EncapsuleX®Soybean oil powder is a powdered oil product made from food-grade soybean oil. Through a microencapsulation process centred on spray drying, the liquid soybean oil is surrounded by a food-grade shell, placing it within the mainstream category of microencapsulated oils. It addresses the industry challenges associated with pure liquid soybean oil, such as its susceptibility to oxidation, poor dispersibility, and the difficulty of taking precise measurements, whilst retaining the original nutritional value of soybean oil. It is suitable for producing and processing powdered, solid and semi-solid foods, and is commonly used to fortify foods and dietary supplements.

Soybean oil is produced from non-genetically modified soya beans, which are the mainstream choice for domestic use and the preferred option for export. Crude soya oil is obtained through pressing, either cold or hot, and food-grade refined soya oil is produced via processes such as degumming, neutralisation, bleaching and deodorisation. Industrial-grade or crude oil is not used to ensure safety. Food-grade encapsulation carriers include fill-type, emulsion-type and functional-type carriers, among others.

Soybean oil typically contains 50-60% linoleic acid, 20-30% oleic acid, 80-120 mg/100 g of vitamin E, 2-3 g/100 g of phytosterols and trace amounts of lecithin.

Soybean oil is the core ingredient embedded in the wall material and produced as a cold water dispersible powder using spray drying technology. We accept customization for the following ingredients and carriers.
